  Hello [firstname], FFDO Stakeholder Meeting 1st QTR 2026   Held at LAX FAMS Field Office    The first quarter stakeholder meeting was held on 15 Jan 2026 in Los Angeles, CA.    FFDOA leadership along with the TSA Branch Manager for the Aviation Programs Branch, Daniel Kuhn, attended.    Many topics were covered including mission counts, current FFDO active force, training numbers, FFDO program budget and incidents.    Couple of highlights:   - There was an ammunition supply issue which required the program to temporarily suspend issuing practice ammunition to some FFDOs who qualified in the first quarter of FY26.  This has been remedied and the program expects to begin issuing practice ammo once again in February.  - The program asked the associations to once again emphasize the importance of ensuring that FFDOs are not inadvertently transporting their equipment to any non-approved …

  Hello [firstname],  FFDOA UPDATE 11/23/25   FFDOA leadership participated in the quarterly stakeholder meeting (held virtually this time) on 18 Nov 25. The call began with an interactive discussion with the Director of the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS), EAA Brian Belcher.  He gave us a good briefing on the status of the FAMS and FFDO program and took several questions from the stakeholders.  On this update, I would like to focus on the initiatives that we have been briefing the membership on for some years now.  It occurred to me the significant progress we have made by consistent, solid advocacy and meaningful time-tested partnerships with our parent agency.  FFDOA, along with our colleagues from CAPA and ALPA, have continually pushed for improvements and advancements in the program.  This includes, but not limited to, training opportunities, program expansion, budget …

Key Highlights: 1. Recognition of Ms. Denise Stark-Jones We began by congratulating and extending our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Denise Stark-Jones, FFDO and CMSD Branch Manager, on her retirement from TSA. Over the past five years, Denise has been a staunch advocate and leader for the FFDO and CMSD programs. Under her direction, the programs have seen: - Significant post-COVID expansion - Increased budget allocations - Integration of the FFDO Senior Program - Multiple MOUs with airlines for CMSDT training Her leadership, vision, and dedication will be greatly missed. 2.
